About the journal
IIBS Journal of Management Research was launched by IIBS Bangalore in 2026 as a quarterly academic journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research papers and case studies in management and related disciplines.
The journal gives researchers, academicians, practitioners and scholars a platform to share contemporary knowledge. It welcomes theoretical and empirical work in finance, marketing, human resources, information technology, economics and operations. Rigorous research and sound analysis are central to every paper considered for publication.
Editorial policy
The editorial board evaluates each submission before it is considered for publication. Authors must submit original work that has not been published previously and is not under review by another journal or conference.
₹0No publication or processing fee is charged to authors.
Guidelines for authors
IIBS JOMR accepts conceptual and empirical papers, case studies, literature reviews and book reviews developed through meaningful research on managerial topics.
Prepare the paper on A4-sized pages using Times New Roman, 12-point type and 1.5 line spacing. Number every page.
To protect anonymity, keep all author information out of the manuscript. Place names, affiliations and contact details on a separate cover page.
Number every table and figure, and provide a clear title and caption.
Include the paper title; each author’s name, affiliation, postal address, phone number and email address; and identify the corresponding author.
Manuscripts should contain 4,000–7,000 words, excluding the abstract, references, tables and figures. Longer papers may be considered when the research requires it.
Provide a 150–300 word abstract and at least six keywords in alphabetical order. Begin the main paper on a new page.
Use bold 14-point section headings and 12-point sub-section headings. Keep both left-aligned, with a blank line before each heading. Centre and italicise quotations.
Use APA 7th Edition style. List references alphabetically at the end of the manuscript, and include only works cited in the text.
Complete a similarity check, preferably using Turnitin. The similarity index must remain below 10%.
Papers should score 90 or above on Grammarly and must be carefully copyedited before submission.
